Canton Police search for man who robbed 7-Eleven store

Canton, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Canton are asking for help as they search for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven clerk who was working the overnight shift at a store on Warren Road.

Investigators say the man entered the store in the 43000 block of Warren around 2:55 a.m. and demanded money. The man pointed an object believed to be a handgun at the woman, restrained the victim and then took off.

The man is described as being white, approximately 6'0"-6'3", between 25-30 years old. He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants with a nylon over his head. Officers say he was driving a dark-colored Volkswagen Jetta, mid 2000's with a white strip along the bottom of the vehicle and aftermarket rims.
