SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Paying off Detroit's debt by selling off art from the DIA, even the governor isn't sure it won't happen.

"You can't make promises," Gov. Rick Snyder said at the Mackinac Policy Conference.

Some lawmakers are now taking steps to prevent creditors from getting their hands on that art. Others say it's time to do what it takes to get out of debt.

Joining Huel Perkins and Taryn Asher to discuss were Ernest Johnson from the Community Coalition, Rev. David A. Bullock from the Change Agent Consortium and Les Gold of American Jewelry and Loan.

Plus, local Muslims accuse the feds of targeting them at the Detroit-Windsor border and Metro Airport. We take a closer look at the issue of profiling. Why some say it's wrong and other say it may be the right thing to do.

Joining us to discuss this topic were Dawud Walid, the executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations, and security expert Lee Shaykhet.

And finally, Charlie Langton took "Let It Rip" on the road to the Mackinac Policy Conference where he asked people whether a bill in the legislature that essentially says if you work for a city, you have to live in that city is a good idea.
