Paralympic athlete overcomes cerebral palsy to become track record-holder

A local athlete overcame cerebral palsy to become 2012 Paralympian Athlete of the Year.

Rachel Kroener holds the records for the javelin in track and field and is also an accomplished wheelchair basketball player.

Kroener's story is especially inspiring because despite battling cerebral palsy, she has gone on to accomplish numerous achievements as a paralympian.

FOX 10's Richard Saenz explains Kroener's incredible journey.
