    September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. Doctors and nurses at Phoenix Children's Hospital, where many young patients are treated, created quite the "buzz" on Tuesday, making a "bald" statement to raise money for research. FOX 10's Anita Roman reports.

Phoenix Comicon continued with one of the biggest attendance days ever.

Organizers are expecting upwards of 45,000 visitors during the four-day event, making 2013 the biggest year yet.

From zombies, to superheroes, to whatever--anything goes at Comicon.

Everyone comes for different reasons.

"Even though you don't know them, you have something in common.  You can just walk up to them and be like, 'Hey, how you doin?" said a Comicon visitor.

"My favorite part is definitely the costumes. I like the artwork too, but I come for the costumes and meeting other people who are into it," said another visitor.

It's this type of response that's making the Phoenix Comicon bigger every year.

This year is the biggest yet, with an estimated 40,000 to 45,000 people visiting from across the region.

"I've been coming for about three years and it's definitely getting bigger each time in a good way.  It's not just art people anymore, or just costumes, it's a nice, big variety of stuff," said one Comicon fan.

"What's cool about Phoenix, is that it's growing," said Brian Buffon, with GameChurch.com.

Buffon is a vendor that goes to different cons.

"We go all over the country," said Buffon.

He says Phoenix is definitely on track to be one of the fastest growing.

"It's cool to see something, a cultural movement, that's just growing continually and continues to get bigger and bigger, so that's really neat," said Buffon.

Comicon wraps up it's four-day run on Sunday at the Phoenix Convention Center.
