Authorities have identified a 20-year-old man they've arrested in the firebombing of the suburban Detroit home of an heir to the Art Van Furniture business.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says Charles P. Kay is charged in Friday's Molotov cocktail attack on the Grosse Pointe Park home of Gary Van Elslander.

His Van Elslander's father is Art Van Furniture Corp. founder Art Van Elslander.

The firebomb damaged a kitchen window and started a fire that was put out before firefighters arrived. Van Elslander, his wife and other family members were inside.

Kay is charged with arson, sending an explosive with intent to cause damage, and possession of a Molotov cocktail. His arraignment was scheduled Sunday in Grosse Pointe Park Municipal Court.

There's no immediate word if Kay has a lawyer.
