PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has told lawmakers not to send her any more bills until there is significant progress on the budget and a proposed Medicaid expansion that has divided the GOP.

Brewer's office said Friday that the Legislature has had more than enough time to resolve the budget issues facing the state.

A spokesman for Brewer says the stalemate may not be the fault of any one lawmaker, but the governor wants attention to be focused on what he described as "two major issues."

Brewer wants to expand Medicaid to 300,000 additional poor Arizonans using federal dollars.

The Legislature will mark the 120th day of the session on Monday. Lawmakers recently moved from a four-day to a three-day workweek. On Thursday, the GOP-led House voted on one bill before adjoining for the day.
