MESA, Ariz. -

A moving company is working with schools across the nation to collect items for battered and homeless women in time for Mother's Day.

Two Men and a Truck locations are working with schools to provide essential items, like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, to mothers living in shelters. These women are usually victims of domestic abuse or are homeless.

On Wednesday and Friday, Two Men and a Truck will pick-up items from local KinderCares to donate to the Sojourner Center.

Students will help the movers load the boxes into trucks to support women in need.

The moving company expects to collect more than 200,000 items nationally to donate to women's shelters.
