MACON, Ga. (AP) - Streets in downtown Macon are being closed this weekend to accommodate filming of the movie "Need for Speed."
The Telegraph of Macon reports camera crews were scheduled to shoot scenes Saturday night, prompting about five blocks of Walnut Street to be closed. Filming was scheduled to move overnight to Cherry Street, with parts of the road being blocked until early Sunday.
"Need for Speed" is a DreamWorks Studios film adapted from a popular videogame series of the same name.
Directed by Scott Waugh, the movie's cast includes Aaron Paul of the television series "Breaking Bad" and Michael Keaton.
