A cold front pushing through the state will bring rain and thundershowers on Wednesday afternoon.
FOX 5 Storm Team meteorologist Joanne Feldman says the front will move into northwest Georgia between noon and 1 p.m. Rain totals could amount to 1/2".
Feldman says the rain should decrease by the time it hits the metro area between 3 and 5 p.m. Most areas should only see rain totals of 1/10" or less.
Some thunder and lightning is possible, but the chance for severe storms is low, says Feldman.
Feldman says the rain should be out of the area by midnight. Thursday temperatures are expected to be in the upper 60s.
