Bob Sirott`s One More Thing about the anchor who cursed on-air

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

One more thing, about the North Dakota TV news anchor who dropped the f-bomb on the air--his first night on the job.

You've probably seen the bleeped clip by now. It went viral, and even made the Letterman Show last night. A.J. Clemente didn't really sound very coherent even after swearing.

That happened on the 5 o'clock news, by 10, A.J. Clemente was gone.

There may be a happy ending to this story though. Facebook users have flocked to the TV station's page to protest the decision to fire him. And that's not all. He's been booked to be a guest tomorrow on the Today Show, he has at least one job offer from the CBS station in Harlingen, Texas to be an anchor and reporter, Opie and Anthony have asked him to be on their satellite radio show, and his twitter followers are now more than 10,000.

A.J. Clemente's profanity laced first words on the air are turning into a great career move for him. This may alter the advice we give young people who want to know how to break into the big time.
