ATLANTA -

Just who are the Boston Marathon bombing suspects? The two suspects have been the subject of a large manhunt which began on Thursday night. Suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, is dead following a shootout with police, and 19-year-old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev remains on the loose.

Various reports say the brothers are from Chechnya, a rebellious region of Russia.

Several sources say the 26-year-old Tsarnaev attended Bunker Hill Community College, and wanted to fit in but never felt he understood Americans. the younger Tsarnaev won a $2,500 academic scholarship in 2011, and appears he was in high school or a lower school.

On a blog he made an interesting remark about a decades old Arkansas case -- two young boys were killed, some men  in the town were arrested and spent a long time in prison and eventually released.

He wrote this: "To go against the authorities isn't an easy thing to do. Don't get me wrong. I'm appalled at the situation, but I think the town was scared and desperate to blame someone. It's because of these stories and such occurrences that make positive changes in the world."

He goes on to say, "I'm pretty sure there won't be any more similar tales like this, if they do, people won't stand quiet, I hope."

Musician Julianna Hatfield tweeted a note posted by Boston authorities dated April, 19 at 6:39 a.m. It was on her door when she woke up in the morning. It states:

"This is an important message from the city of Cambridge. Due to the ongoing police investigation in Watertown and the surrounding area, police are advising residents to shelter in place. MBTA service has been suspended in Cambridge and the region. This includes the Red Line, Green Line, and all bus routes. Please stay vigilant and call 911 immediately if you witness suspicious activity."

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev remains on the loose, and is considered armed and dangerous by police.
