We now know the name of the officer who shot and killed a man last week at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Sycamore View.
Police say officer Manuel Saldana fired the shot that killed Daniel Brock. Investigators say Brock was driving erratically and chasing a man. They tell us Brock got out of his car at a stop light, banged on a man's car window and threatened to kill him.
That's when police caught up to Brock at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Sycamore View.
They say he got out of his car and charged officers. Saldana shot when Brock refused to take his hands behind his back as he approached the officers.
Officer Saldana has been routinely relieved of duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
