STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is planning to hire about 300 people to work at a new store in metro Atlanta.
Dan Fagan, manager of the Walmart store slated to open in Stone Mountain, says the store is hiring full and part-time workers. Fagan says most new hires will likely begin work in May to prepare for the store's opening this summer.
A temporary hiring center has been established at Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Clarkston. Applications are being accepted Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Applications may also be submitted online.
