will chew, but with the small shape of their mouth, they generally
don't swallow things that large," said Jerry Dalton from Pug Rescue
The rubber duck is now back in the outside world discolored by its digestive bubble bath. Bugzy has several stitches on his belly following surgery.
Bugzy was surrendered to Pug Rescue Network last month, and it turned out he had not one, but two hidden emergencies.
"When we did the routine blood work, we discovered he had heart worm," Jerry Dalton explained.
If that wasn't enough, Bugzy had to be crate trained to be cured.
"In Bugzy's case, he has to be comfortable in that crate and secure so that he can rest and go through the heart worm treatment," said Carol Dalton.
Bugzy is currently in a foster home. If you would like to adopt him, visit www.pugrescuenetwork.com for more information.
