MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -
Memphis forward-guard Adonis Thomas plans to forego his final two seasons with the Tigers to sign with an agent and declare for the NBA draft.
The 6-foot-7, 240-pound Thomas was a McDonald's All-American in 2011 coming out of Melrose High in Memphis. He helped the Tigers go 31-5 this season before losing in the second round to Michigan State. Thomas started all 36 games this season as a sophomore and was the team's second-leading scorer averaging 11.7 points per game.
