Rain To Move Out By Start Of Phillies Home Opener

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Phillies baseball is back Friday in Philadelphia, but how about the rain?

Since the start of spring, the weather has felt anything but warm with temperatures in the 30s and 40s in some cases.

Although rain is in the forecast late Thursday night into Friday morning, FOX 29 Chief Meteorologist Scott Williams says the wet weather should be out of our area in time for the 4:05 p.m. first pitch.

The rain, however, may impact your Friday morning drive into work, especially in parts of South Jersey and Delaware. But by the afternoon, the system will have moved out of our area.

The game-time temperature is expected to be in the 50s.
