Dear Tiger Nation,
On behalf of Coach Pastner and the University of Memphis, we extend our sincere sympathy to the family of Bobby Parks on his passing at age 51. Memorial Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday April 6 at Grand Junction Elementary School in the Bobby Parks Gymnasium located on 750 Pledge Street, Grand Junction TN.
In addition to flowers, donations can be made on the Rebounders website www.memphisrebounders.com <http://www.memphisrebounders.com/> via a pay pal account as well as to the "Friends of Bobby Parks Account" at any Bank of Bartlett location.
All of Tiger Nation, Memphis, Hardeman County, Middleton & Grand Junction mourn the loss of one of the Top 50 Tiger Athletes of all time. During his Tiger playing career and on the road to playing in 3 NCAA Tournaments, CBS commentator and legend Al McGuire nicknamed Bobby Parks "National Parks"as Bobby became a fan favorite electrifying the nation.
Bobby was not only a great athlete but a great person---warm, caring, and devoted to his family, university, and city. May Bobby rest in peace with God giving comfort to the Parks family and close friends during this time of great loss.
