The St. Paul Saints are getting a new stadium, but some people aren't convinced the plan is a home run for the city.
On Wednesday night, members of the public got a chance to weigh in on potential parking issues in downtown, and FOX 9 was there for the meeting.

If all goes according to the current plan, the new ballpark will be built upon what is now off-street parking for residents by 2015.
Many living in the area said they assumed the plan would account for the loss of off-street parking and create new options -- but that's not part of the plan right now.
Community members argue they never got the chance to weigh in on the plan, which also includes a light rail line to the area. Even so, those who live nearby say parking remains a problem.
While nearly everyone welcomes the stadium and the business it will bring to the area, residents did present an alternative plan; however, they worry the city's mind is already made up.
City officials did not return calls for comment.
