2nd annual 'Comedy for a Cause' at Comedy Castle in Royal Oak March 26

Posted: Updated:

On Tuesday March 26 Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle will host the 2nd annual 'Comedy for a Cause' charity event. Entertainment, charity and chuckles can be expected from comedians Jeff Allen and Crystal P. All proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army of Metro Detroit's Bed & Bread program.

"I've been a longtime supporter of The Salvation Army's Bed & Bread Program and last year's event was such a great success, we decided to make it happen again this year," said Mark Ridley, owner of Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle. "When the community can get together for a good cause and share a good laugh, it makes for a really great time."

The show begins at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. with opening act Crystal P. performing around 7:15 p.m. While the content of the show is clean, it is only open to 18 and older. News/Talk 760 WJR's Ken Rogulski will emcee the evening.

The Comedy Castle is located in Royal Oak at 310 S Troy St.

It's not just the styles that have changed with weddings over the years -- it's also the technology. Disposable cameras used to be the norm, but now there's an even simpler way for the bride and groom to get some candid photos of their special day.
