PHOENIX -

The FBI is looking for two bandits in two separate bank robberies in the valley.

The "Why So Serious Bandit" allegedly robbed a US Bank at 630 E. Bell Road in Phoenix on March 12. He entered the bank, proceeded to the counter, pushed an elderly woman to the side, and demanded money from the teller.

The teller complied and he fled the bank north into the neighborhood.

Police established a perimeter and conducted a K-9 search, but the suspect was not located. He is described as a white male, 5'11", mid-20s with a slender build, and wearing a black ski mask, black plastic sunglasses, a white long sleeve shirt, black gloves, gray sweatpants and tennis shoes. The FBI believes that the Why So Serious Bandit struck on Feb. 1.

On March 15, a different suspect robbed the Bank of America at 16431 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale. He entered the bank carrying a newspaper and a cup of coffee. The suspect approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The teller complied. He fled the bank northbound.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'7", 25 to 30 years old, 130 to 150 lbs., facial hair on chin, tattoo on the back of his neck, wearing a black baseball hat with gray stripes, an earring in his right ear, black shirt and black pants and white tennis shoes.

In both cases, a weapon was not shown.
