AT&T is conducting a three-day disaster recovery exercise in Atlanta.
Crews are showing off some of the equipment used to keep lines of communication open when a community is impacted by a disaster.
The drills include state-of-the-art trailers, complete with portable cell towers. AT&T has deployed the team more than 70 times in its two decades of service.
Members helped in the recovery after Hurricanes Sandy and Isaac last year.
