Memphis City Councilwoman Janis Fullilove has decided to go to trial on April 30 instead of going into rehab.
Attorneys for the councilwoman told FOX13 News they didn't agree to a part of a plea deal that would have sent her into a drug treatment program.
Her impending trial date stems from an August 2012 domestic case involving her husband. Her defense team says they agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors that only included anger management, which she has completed.
