SOUTH MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -
A handful of Memphis firefighters spent Monday morning removing a car the was partially submerged in a lake in South Memphis.
The car, a black Chevrolet Impala, was abandoned but the retrieval did cause some motorists to pull over on the side of the road and watch.
Fire officials told FOX13 News no one was inside the car or in the lake that was spotted near Holmes Road. They believe the car was reported stolen and it appears after a joyride someone dumped the car into the lake.
