Here is the recipe featured on FOX 2 News Morning:

TERIYAKI MARINADE

1 cup soy sauce

4 1/4 teaspoons rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

7 gloves of garlic minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger chopped

1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

4 bunches of green onions chopped

2/3 cup honey

1/2 cup chopped pineapple blended

in a sauce pan reduce mirin by half , then add the rest of the ingredients , and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes or until a

rolling boil appears , reduce heat and refrigerate until needed

JAPANESE CHERRY MAYO

1 1/2 cups frozen cherries

2 cups mayo

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1/2 lemon juiced

1 teaspoon lemon zest

Blend all ingredients in a blender

2 1/2 tablespoons Shachimi Togarashi

then stir in the Shachimi Togarashi

(note) be sure not to add shachimi before you blend the first 5 ingredients

sweetness and spicy ness can be adjusted to taste by adding more or less shachimi or cherrys
