PHOENIX -

We all know airfare is expensive, so how would you like to save 40 percent on your next trip?

If you have the time to do a little leisurely traveling, there is a new website that can help you save on airfare.

If you want to go on a vacation, just to get away for fun, you'll love this.

Getgoing.com promises to give you a great trip and save you major cash on your travel.

The catch? You've got to be flexible.

"What we developed is a pick two, get one system. Pick two locations that they want to go to, say they want to go to London or Barcelona, if they want to go to either of those places, they can pick both of them and then Getgoing will pick one. And what that does is that it proves to the airlines that you're traveling for leisure," said Robb Henshaw with Getgoing.com.

The things is, about 20 percent of all airline seats go unsold.

Through this website, airlines realize you're flexible. Out of your two desired destinations, they pick the seat they most need to fill, give you a discount and it's a win-win for the airline and passenger.

"You can search for places, Europe, sit on a beach, but you don't care which beach it is. You can search and we'll provide you a bunch of different results. Kind of like a 'Pandora' for travel...you pick the two places and we do let you compare with other places so you can see how much you're saving before you book," said Henshaw.

So, how much can you save??

"We offer the ability to save up to 40 percent, usually between 20 and 40 percent, but also the ability to verify those savings against all the other travel sites out there," said Henshaw.

Getgoing.com works with airlines that fly to 50 different countries.

For a business traveler, this isn't gonna work, but if you have a little bit of wiggle room? You may want to get going today.
