PHOENIX -
His death is at the center of the highest profile murder case in the country right now. Travis Alexander was killed by his sometime girlfriend Jodi Arias.
We've uncovered some video of Travis that shows him in a way that those watching the trial haven't seen before.
In a video posted on YouTube, Travis Alexander gets a big hand at an event for his multi-level marketing business, and his introductory remarks bring up his dating life.
"When I first started training and things like that, you can imagine the first thing I would hear a lot of is, by the way he's single. And I'd be like, that's right I am. Ladies come get me." [Laughter]
"That's been going on for 6 years. At first I enjoyed it, but now it's just depressing. Yep he's still single. Still hanging on."
In another video, Travis appears as a character named Eddie Snell. He would use this costume in a kind of comedy routine to entertain and educate associates.
It's a side of Travis we haven't heard much about during the Jodi Arias murder trial, and it's interesting to hear him talk about dating, when a relationship gone wrong ended up costing him his life.
"I was at a friend's wedding a few weeks ago. And he's one of those guys I was certain I was going to beat him to the altar, you know. Nope. So I'm there and I'm shaking his hand, ‘I'm so happy for you. She's beautiful.' All that jazz."
The Jodi Arias trial resumes on Wednesday. Jodi is still on the stand.
