"Students want a competitive edge and they're looking to focus. They want to stay up for the night with a tunnel vision and get their work done," said College of New Jersey sophomore Ryan Dolan. He and Luke Roskowinski U-Penn student promise all of that is packaged in a 2.5 ounce bottle they call Naderol.
"We're giving your brain the right nutrition to focus and get to where it needs to be," said Ryan. The two came up with the idea they noticed a dangerous yet growing trend on high school and college campuses.
Ryan said, "I started to see students using prescription Attention Deficit Disorder medications without prescriptions to get ready for college entrance exams."
So with the expertise of a local scientist they came up with Naderol, a play on the prescription ADD drug Adderall. The product website boasts a list of ingredients claimed to be all natural.
"It's very much like a clean energy feeling. I don't feel like I'm on something," claimed Luke.
But does all natural equal safe and does the product work?
"I'm not saying it doesn't work and I'm not saying it works. I need data," said Dr. Mike Cirigliano of the University of Pennsylvania. He input all the ingredients into the Comprehensive Natural Medicines data base and said, "Some of the ingredients have studies that show some improvement in memory." But he warns there's nothing that shows how effective is the blend of the ingredients. And Dr. Mike said there may be serious side effects especially if someone has a medical condition.
The company says no studies have been done on the product yet but they're in talks with two labs to have tests done in the near future. Naderol is sold online and on some college campuses. It is not FDA approved and is considered a dietary supplement.

An armed deli robbery is caught on camera. Two brazen gunmen held up the store owner with the man's kids right nearby. It's scary enough having armed gunmen storm your business.
