Since its inception, funk & soul music has told stories of love, life and rhythm, and has been a big part of the musical history of Detroit.
On March 1 through 3, 2013, the young artists of Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit will honor some of soul & funk music's most iconic figures with Singsation! Mosaic Singers in Concert presented by Pepsi. The show will be held at the Detroit Film Theatre inside the DIA, located at 5200 Woodward Ave. in Detroit(John R. Entrance).
Performances of Singsation! will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, and at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. Tickets are $22 for general admission and $15 for students and seniors with valid ID, and can be purchased by clicking here or by calling 313-833-4005.
