BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. -

Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection the death of a Pemberton Township man whose body was found last month in the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest.

According to Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi, 19-year-old Ryan Sweet and Brandon Dixon, 25, were arrested and charged with one count of Felony Murder.

Police say the charges are in connection with the death of 23-year-old Charles Bauer, who was found face down in the forest on the surface of a frozen pond last month.

Investigators accuse Sweet and Dixon of conspiring to steal Bauer's vehicle. Police say the two arranged to meet him at his home and then killed him. The two then allegedly took Bauer's body to Union Pond in the state forest.

Police say the case is still under investigation.
