PHILADELPHIA -

Two people have been arrested in connection with the beating of a cab driver earlier this week in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police confirmed Wednesday morning that Nahfeeh Williams, 18, and Dawand Williams, 25, were arrested Tuesday night.

Sources tell FOX 29 News that the two are cousins.

Two men were seen on surveillance video leaving SEPTA's 69th Street Station, then getting into a cab and having the driver take them to 82nd Street and Lyons Avenue.

Once there, the suspects attacked the driver, then stole 100 bucks and debit cards from him, police reported earlier.

The cabbie needed 100 stitches after the attack.
