PHOENIX (AP) - Richard Lambert has been appointed a Mohave County Superior Court judge.
The appointment was announced Friday by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.
She says Lambert fills a new position in the court's seventh division effective on April 1.
Lambert already has served in a judicial capacity for more than five years.
He's been the Kingman Justice of the Peace since 2006 and Mohave County Associate Presiding Limited Jurisdiction Court Judge and Mohave County Judge Pro Tempore since 2010.
Lambert previously worked for the Mohave County Attorney's Office and Coconino County Attorney's Office.
He graduated from the Creighton University School of Law in 1993 and earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
Lambert has been licensed to practice law in Arizona since 2001.
