JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -
The Better Business Bureau of Mississippi is warning consumers that Instant Tax Service also known as ITS Financial LLC has an "F'' rating with the BBB.
The Justice Department has gone to court in an effort to close the company, alleging the franchisees intentionally prepared and filed fraudulent tax returns to maximize their customers' refunds and extract large tax preparation fees.
ITS Financial is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio.
According to www.instanttaxservice.com, the company has offices in Jackson, Canton, Hattiesburg, Gulfport and Southaven in Mississippi and one office in Memphis, Tenn.
