DETROIT (WJBK) -

For the second time in a year, meteorologist Alan Longstreet Thursday jumped into the icy waters of the Detroit River to help raise money for the Special Olympics.

And you thought Al Allen had it rough on those snowy overpasses.

There was, however, one major difference between this year's leap and last...

Clothing.

Funny how FOX 2's female contingency seemed to notice, all while the guys thumbed through the newly delivered Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Either way, use the video player above to watch Alan brave the frigid temps and let us know what you think. Which jump did you like better? Vote in our poll to the right and leave your comments below.

Parents and teachers know school supplies don't come cheap. Many teachers even buy school supplies out-of-pocket. But now, a new Detroit company is doing more than selling school supplies - they're also giving back.
