Gas Leak In Hunting Park Prompts Evacuations

PHILADELPHIA -

Fox 29 has confirmed that a gas leak in the Hunting Park section of the city has prompted fire rescue to evacuate 20 homes.

The evacuees live in and around N. 12th Street and W. Courtland St.

A strong odor of gas was being reported by residents.

Approximately 14 people have been relocated to a shelter on 12th & Wyoming.

No injuries have been reported.
