Thieves Vandalize Dozens Of Storage Units In NE Philly

PHILADELPHIA -

Police say thieves cut a six-foot hole through the security fence of a public storage facility in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday and broke into dozens of storage units.

The break-ins happened at a storage facility on the 1200 block of Byberry Road.

Police say once the thieves got inside they cut the locks to nearly 40 storage units.

Tuesday's theft marks the latest in a series of break-ins at this same location police said.
