The tension is about to ratchet up a few notches on American Idol with the start of Hollywood Week.
The 295 Idol wannabes who made it past the first round will start duking it out for their chance at the main stage.
Host Ryan Seacrest spoke to Good Day Wednesday morning.
Last week, Seacrest's girlfriend, Julianne Hough, was on Good Day talking about possible Valentine's Day plans.
