August marks the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for jobs and freedom. It was a time of racial unrest that some, mainly children, are still trying to understand. So, Ambassador Andrew Young brought that history lesson back to life for students at Jean Young Middle School.
Ambassador Young and other civil rights activists helped organize the march that despite some fears turned out to be one of the most peaceful marches of its era. FOX 5's Lisa Rayam talked with Ambassador Young about the experience, and she has the full story. Click on the video above to watch it.
