Suspect in Morehouse College shooting waives court appearance

The man accused of shooting a Morehouse College student on Friday waived his first court appearance on Monday.

Police arrested 20-year-old Amir Obafemi for shooting Morehouse senior Cornelius Savage. Obafemi is a student at Clark Atlanta University. The shooting happened after a pick-up basketball game in the gym. Obafemi surrendered to police on Saturday.

Obafemi is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
