
Legislation was filed Thursday that would leave it up to individual municipalities to decide if wine should be available in grocery stores.

After years of back and forth in Nashville on opening wine sales beyond liquor stores, the sponsors of the bill decided it should be up to the voters.
A local governing body could put the issue up for referendum.
If this bill passes in this legislative session, you could see the question on the ballot in 2014.
