WHITEHAVEN, Tenn. (FOX13) -
Parishioners and staff at All Believers Faith Center church in Whitehaven are praying for a miracle in the return of the church's air conditioning unit.
The air conditioner was removed sometime Sunday, Jan. 27, from the Craft Road church.
Pastor Larry Pratcher said sometime after Sunday service the huge unit, estimated at $25,000, was removed from atop the two-story building.
Pastor Pratcher believes the air conditioning unit was taken to a scrap yard to be sold for parts.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the House of the Lord has been hit by criminals.
Making matters worse, the church dropped their insurance on the building in an effort to save money since it was up for sale.
