Authorities in Pima County are looking for a 2-year-old boy that was kidnapped Tuesday morning.
The baby's biological father, 24-year-old Luis Ernesto Soberanes, allegedly took the boy by force from a man who was caring for him.
Soberanes was with the child's maternal grandmother, Guadelupe Legarda; the child's maternal aunt, Fernanda Mendoza; and three unidentified males. Soberanes detained the man and threatened to harm him while the baby's aunt took the child.
The mother of the child has sole custody, authorities determined.
Legarda and Mendoza were taken into custody as of Tuesday night, but Soberanes and the child are still missing.
At the time of the abduction, the boy was wearing blue sweat pants with white stripes and a blue sweatshirt with a logo. He is a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. His name is King Gomez.
Soberanes is believed to have violent tendencies. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
