
Julian SanchezPhoenix Police say 41-year-old Julian Sanchez stabbed his girlfriend and their daughter during a domestic dispute near 16th Street and Roeser Road on Saturday.
Sanchez and his 38-year-old girlfriend have been in a relationship for 20 years and have several children together. After they got into an argument at their home, Sanchez allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman numerous times.
During the fight, police say their 18-year-old daughter tried to help but was stabbed in the arm.
Officers say Sanchez fled the home.
On Tuesday night, some of Sanchez's family members drove to the a police command station and Sanchez surrendered.
The girlfriend's injuries are serious, but she is in stable condition. The 18-year-old daughter has non-life threatening injuries.
Sanchez was booked into jail and charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault.
