A man and a woman are accused of sexually exploiting a 16-year-old girl on Monday.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Earl Maurice Hunter and 24-year-old Tiyanna Genna Gillespie after getting a call of a possible fight at an apartment complex near 55th Avenue and Camelback Road.
A 16-year-old girl and her mother were at the apartments and she told police she was there picking up her purse and cell phone from Hunter.
According to officers, the girl told them Hunter and his friend Gillespie pimped her out to at least six men on Monday. She also told them she had sex with both Hunter and Gillespie.
Police say the girl told them she met Hunter at a bus stop at 59th Avenue and Northern. She said Hunter asked how old she was and she told him 16. He then allegedly asked her if she wanted to make money and she told him "yes."
According to a police report, Hunter brought her to his apartment and took pictures of her posing sexually. The report says Gillespie uploaded the pictures to a computer and a tablet.
Afterward, Hunter allegedly told her he wanted her to meet with several people and have sex with them. Police say Hunter told her to give him the money she earned.
During their search, officers found over 40 grams of marijuana, baggies and packaging material, us postal shipping boxes and shipping labels, multiple cell phones, a computer, Kindle and $1000 in cash.
Hunter was arrested and charged with child prostitution, possessing marijuana for sale, theft/control of property, sexual conduct with minor, receiving earnings of prostitute, enticing a person for prostitution and sexual exploitation of a minor.
