MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -
A convicted multiple murderer struck a plea deal with prosecutors in a five year old murder case.
Dexter Cox admitted to murdering Memphis Police Lieutenant Ed Vidulich in his Frayser home in 2008.

The plea deal will keep Cox off of death row. He pleaded to second degree murder and will only serve 15 years for this murder.
Cox is currently doing time for two other murders.
