A new mass notification system is being unveiled that will allow messages to be sent to valley residents in case of an emergency.
Siemens is partnering with our local Desert Fire & Communications to send and transfer information valley residents.
Recent shootings in communities across America have inspired Siemens to think of more ways to act quickly in emergencies.
The system will use fire alarm systems, iPhones, smart phones, Smart Boards, emails, texting, handheld radios and intercom systems to get these emergency messages out.
