WASHINGTON -
Washington D.C. is proving it's got what it takes when it comes to hosting a massive event with nearly a million visitors.
There were a few traffic issues because of security, but most visitors we spoke to thought the inaugural events went smoothly. For some, this was a time to sample the city, which is growing faster than most places across the country.
The cleanup project on the National Mall and Pennsylvania Avenue got underway immediately. Workers battled the freezing weather as they loaded up stages, portable bathrooms, and viewing stands.
