
Southaven Alderman Ricky Jobes, who was convicted of driving under the influence on Thursday, said he will file an appeal.
Alderman Jobes was arrested Oct. 19, 2012, for DUI and reckless driving in DeSoto County. A witness reported seeing him driving erratically and called police.

After he was stopped by police, the alderman refused to take a breathalyzer test and was fined $950.
His drivers license was also be suspended.
This is not Jobes first traffic charge. He was charged with DUI during a 2010 traffic stop and that charge was ultimately reduced to reckless driving because of a technicality.
