Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

MARTA officials say they will be holding a series of public hearings on proposed bus service modifications.

The hearings will be held January 22 and 24 to gather input on changes affecting several routes. Those changes are set to start on April 20.

The hearing on January 22 will be held at the Adamsville Recreation Center, 3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 7 p.m.

Hearings for January 24 will be held at two locations: MARTA Headquarters Building at 2424 Piedmont Road NE at 7 p.m., and the Maloof Auditorium at 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur at 7 p.m., with the community exchange beginning at 6 p.m.

MARTA says prior to each meeting, staffers will be available to answer questions about the proposed changes.

Those unable to attend the meeting and wish to leave a comment can do so by calling 404-848-5299. You can do so until January 27. You can also write MARTA, 2424 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30324 or visit the MARTA site.
