Red Wings Open Training Camp to Public

The Detroit Red Wings will open their 2012-2013 Training Camp at Noon on Sunday, Jan. 13, at Compuware Arena in Plymouth, MI. The camp will be highlighted by a special Red vs. White Game on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 6:00pm, as the Red Wings American Hockey League-affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins will combine with the Wings NHL players. The event will feature general admission seating. Doors to Compuware Arena will open at 5:00pm.

Tuesday's Red vs. White Game and all practices leading up to the season opener at St. Louis on Jan. 19, are open to the public and free of charge. The Red vs. White contest also will be carried live on Fox Sports Detroit and on 1270 AM.

Following a day off on Wednesday, the week-long camp moves from Compuware Arena to Joe Louis Arena on Thursday, Jan. 17 and Friday, Jan. 18, with continued open to the public practices.
