HAVERTOWN, Pa. -

Flu shots are hard to come by these days at Havertown's Care STAT clinic.  They ran out of vaccines on Saturday, due to record high demand on their busiest day ever.

"As of last night we had 123 flu vaccines," said owner Dr. Jonathan Gusdorff.

"Right now we have 1 or 2 left in our refrigerator."

They were gone not long after FOX29 arrived to tape our report.  We caught up with Chris Herbert and his wife, two of the last people able to get shots.

"It's all on the news," Herbert said, "so we decided to get our flu shots today."

Dr. Gusdorff said he will be turning people away until Monday when they have a fresh shipment of 150 vaccines.

More will be ordered as needed.

The clinic is able to access 9,000 vaccines care of its supplier.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
